Are you ready for some awesome news? The Boox Leaf2 has just received a major update that will make your reading experience even better! Here are some of the highlights:

Image dithering everywhere! You can now enjoy smooth and realistic gradations on any apps! Say goodbye to blotchy and pixelated pictures! Look at Soekarno’s uniform and the sky above Kennedy.

Improved battery life and performance! The Boox Leaf2 can now last longer on a single charge, and respond faster than ever.

Better hardware button compatibility! You can now use the page up and page down buttons as scroll button, making them compatible with more apps.

More cloud storage options! You can now sync your files with Google Drive and many other cloud services. I haven’t tried them myself, but I’m sure they’re handy for keeping your documents safe and accessible.

Fewer bugs! The developers have fixed some annoying issues, like the clear notification button which now works as it should.

Of course, not everything is perfect. There are some drawbacks to this update that you should know about:

The control center is now huge. It looks like everything has been enlarged by 200%. This means you’ll have to adjust your muscle memory when you want to change the frontlight settings or other options.

The home screen has a thicker notification bar font that doesn’t look great. For example, the “speed” refresh mode looks blotchy and fuzzy.

But hey, don’t let these minor flaws stop you from enjoying the Boox Leaf2. It’s still a great device that offers a lot of features and flexibility. Go ahead and try the update for yourself and see what you think! Or watch the full review:
